Created in 1984, the Somontano D.O. is a young and dynamic Spanish “Designation of Origin”. Located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the province of Huesca, the area has gained an excellent winemaking reputation.
The Wines produced under the Somontano D.O. label, are wines perfectly suited to the tastes of current consumers. In addition to the typical reds of the region, vibrantly coloured rosés are produced. The whites reveal a range of characteristics, noticeably those of freshness, fruitiness and balanced acidity.
